Reporting Live from the SCCM 2014
By Jeff Normand RDCS, Director of Marketing
Greetings from San Francisco. This year's SCCM conference had an estimated 6000 attendees and something for everyone: training workshops, educational symposia, posters, and dynamic presentations on topics covering the entire landscape of critical care medicine. At the ImaCor exhibit we spoke to hundreds of physicians about the challenges inside of the ICU. The overwhelming tone of the conversations was, "How are we going to manage more effectively and efficiently in the changing times ahead?" We appreciated the opportunity to learn more from these physicians and discuss their focus on improving patient critical care, especially in Hemodynamic Management.
The SCCM meeting was also an opportunity for everyone to see the latest technology in the Critical Care arena. ImaCor was pleased to showcase our newest platform, the Zura EVOTM, which supports our miniaturized, disposable ClariTEE® probe. Physicians viewed the system, held the probe, and explored some of our new educational tools like the hTEE QuickStartTM mobile application. This app complements ImaCor's comprehensive hTEE training program and provides clinicians easy access to how-to videos, patient case reviews, and 24/7 customer support.
